India appears to be at an critical junction from where, even small focused policy change can have outsized benefits for the future of the country ( or even humanity as India being most populous country). My guess is that the 240 seat shock still hasn't worn off. Add in the pressure of managing allies and risk taking capacity automatically goes down.
